Nelson, of Mitchell, was in town Wednesday making final roof on two land claims. She came across the mountains en horseback. Court adjourned last Monday night and Judge Bradsbaw and District Attorney Wilson left on Tuesday's atage for their home in The Dalles. On Thursday morning Sheriff Booth started to the penitentiary with Wm. Ash and Ellis Wheeler. He took J. H. Crooks and G. W. Murphy along for Guards. Last Monday complaint was made Justice Elliott's court charging Marion W. Orsborn with swearing falsely on the trial of Ellis Wheeler last week. A warrant for his arrest was placed in the hands of P. B. Poin dezter who arrested Orsborn aud brought him before Justice Elliott Thursday for examination. After hearing the testimony the Justice held him In bonds of $300 to appear before the next grand Jury. Mrs. Hindman ii visiting lu Albany this week. Dr. W. H.
