Katbella Balttniore, the wife of W. TJ Baltimore, and daughter of E. and M. Bus ier, was born July 4th 1888, in Grant coun ty, Indiana. In 1870 her parents removed from Indiana to Kansas where they lived until in 16HI, at which time they moved to Oregon, she accompanying them. Bue became a member of the Brethren church in November 1883. She lived a verv devot ed Christian life. Her hie was indeed beautiful; always kind and affectionate, never without a kind word, all were made to feel the sunlight of her presence. She was married to W. U. Baltimore January 1st 1882. She has been a great sufferer for the last two years. Although her sutferinge were intense, she bore tliem with a spirit of sweet patience supernatural. For the last four months of her life she was confined to her bed almost incessantly. But notwithstanding her great sufferings she deliberately directed the manner of her burial apecifyii.g a favorite piece of music that she desired sung. She expressed her- self as ready and glad logo and be with the Lord. She died March 1st 1888 at 9;3u p. m.. and was followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends to the grave in the Masonic Cemetery at Lebanon, on the after noon of March 2nd 1893.
