In Linn county the salary Is 1800. The annual salary of sheriff of Tilla mook county is the smallest In the list, being $1200, and Multnomah county is the largest, being $4500. The salary in Lino county is $2000, Lane $2000 anil Marion $3000 with two deputies at $1500 , In alt county offices where no salary is fixed, as is the case in Linn county, the compensation of the necessary deputies will be fixed by the county ' court "'.''
