The liiass-mecting at the C. P. church on Monday evening, in the interest of prohibition, was largely attended and there was much enthu siasm. The audience wor addressed by Revs. Boyd, Jacks and Houston, all of who made good speeches. Mr. Boyd is very severe on all the church mem bers who signed the petitions for the saloons. His criticisms were just In the main, but very cutting aud rather personal. The saloons were openly charged, by all the speakers, with vio lating the law, but not one specification was made, nor was there an effort made .for anyone to swear out a com plaint, nor was it stated that anyone was willing to file a complaint.
