There are at present iilimit 25 families camping here, hut Jnru orim'iis arc present every Suuibiy. It Is said hero that I' la a decided fact th.it a motor line will soon he built bjtween here and I.obu 11 m. Two nnd a half miles east of 8ndu ' vllle we cam to the pleturesiHte little village of Waterloo, situated on the west bank of the Hmitiam, Here is nlso found a line soda spring tlie water of which is fully equal to Unit of Kudu vitle. This town consists of u suinll store and pnst-otliee, hotel and livery stable, with about ten or twelve resi dences. One of the rarest and most viiluuiilc features is its natural water power which is reliably not equalled hv any in this purtnf the stale. The river here is spanned by a remarkubly line wooden bridge; and about this ro mantic little village we find the grand est and must plctur.sqiie scenery imaginable. The prlnclii.il resources ot this part of the country are agricu I ture mid fruit ruising. Tho principal outlet of these places is Lebanon, there being a hard smooth road between the places. Although boll) of these towns me old-settled jilaces, there is at pres ent every iinl.citioii that within the next few years they Aill exmriencean era of decided Improvement and devel opment. I'r.iperly owners In and about Waterloo are now platting ex tcrsivc additions to the place, and have a force of surveyors at work ut present. . Although we were obliged to make hurried observations, and had but a couple of days to tarry, we experienced a pleasant and exhilarating trip, ami would fain have prolonged it into weeks. : ' Com io, The proposition of Dr. L. Foley to furnish electric lights was con sidered ot a meeting of the Council 'Wednesday night, but one of the City Fathers being absent the mat ter was deferred eo be taken up again to-night (Thursday). Tho Foley proposition as modified is certainly a very liberal one and ought to be accepted. The new advertisement of T. L. 'Wallace & Co., the heavy clothiers of Albany, will be found elsewhere. This is a deservedly popular house and we recommond it to Lebanon-" iuns who go to Albany to buy.
