National Organizer R A Irvine has
gone up into King's Valley to organ-
uw a sub-alliance. -
Remember the County Alliance will
meet at Lebanon the lust Saturday in
July.
The organization at Providence
is abut SO strong.
. Providence Alliance deserves
credit for the manner in which they
conducted the picnic there.
The Conntv Alliance meets at
Lebanon, July 25. A suitable h&U
has been secured and the band en
gaged.. A profitable meeting is an
ticipated.
The organization lately perfected in
Portland is the thirty-seventh of the
kind within the united States. The
crowth of this order is almost without
parallel The delegates from Linn
county were Hon. R A Irvine, John
Bryant, and Jacob Newman. Hon. R.
A. Iviug was named upon the commu
te on constitution and by-lawa, on
resolutions, and on platform.
Harvesting is well upon us. Con.
derable grain is already in the shock,
and the twiners are doing full work.
In many plnces full grain stands five
feet high, and the beads are as thick
as they can stick. The gruin yield nf
Linn county this year will surpass
that of last season considerably; and
the busiuess outlook Is certainly mod
for lively business, in the towns of
Luiseouniv.
