Oregon is herself again with rains descending alike on the just and un just. Hack loads of homesteaders, bound for Portland, are of almost daily occurrence, these days. For Sale—Good pigs and shoats. Prof. Shafer delivered the principal address. Albert Frink, of across the river, made a mislick with an ax Wednes day, cutting his right hand severely. Dr. Luther dressed the wound. Several stitches were required to bring the parts together. The City Drug store has now on hand and is receiving a fine line of holiday goods. Call and see them before buying your Christmas pres ents. Dr. N. R. Luther. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Geisendorfer proprietors of Cascadia Springs, went to the valley Tuesday, expect ing to visit Albany and other points for a month. Mr. Shearinghousen drove them to Lebanon. The Tribune was promised a com plete report of the Parent-Teachers meeting of last Saturday, but at the time of going to press, it has failed to make its appearance. Rev. C. H. Wood makes daily trips to Foster, these days. He is building a bellfry on the church at that place and otherwise giving the building a general repairing and painting. The high school band made its initial appearance in public, at the Parent-Teachers meet last Sat urday. For less than two months practice, the boys acquitted them selves very creditably.
