T he S cio T ribune Vol. 29 S(’!(). OREGON, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17,1925 11.75 the Year STAGE ALL SET FOR THE BIG DRAWING __________ Prizes From f.ight Firm« Will be Drawn Wednesday— Balance on Thursday Next Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, xo the merchants tell us (and they ought to know), the first of the drawings for the prizes will take place from a truck in front of Gill’s •tore. Some child will be blind folded and each box from each place of hudncft» will be opened, and the third ticket out wins the first prize, the next ticket the second prize, the next ticket the third prize. There will bo only five tickets drawn from each box unless the holder of the lucky ticket and n-mt member of his fireside is absent, or he or she has just won a prize from that box, when the drawing will continue un til the lucky holder is found. The reason for drawing from the individual box is obvious, because the patron of that store has placed his name in that box with the hope he might win one of the prizes from that store. As the day draws closer buying is becoming more spirited, and the outlook is for a large crowd tn town on these two days. We un derstand tickets will be given until 2 o’clock on both days. ™No. 1» In Holiday Attire INSANE MAN CAUSES CONSIDERABLE STIR Moat of the merchant» hav« ire»-., ed their window» in holiday drew and are displaying their Hoe» of good» in a very attractive manner.
