Hazel and Lvnn Young, all of Portland, spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Young. Mrs. Anton Holub and aon Frank spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Prokop. Claud Hyde of Wrens spent Sun day at the home of S. F. Zyseet Mrs. Hyde and son Jay. who nave been visiting at the Zyaaet home for two weeks, returned home with him Sunday evening. Harold Ret lev of Roseburg spent Sunday at the home of his p’rents. Mr and Mrs. J. K. Reiley. Visitor« at the Fred Mespelt home Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kitchen of Albany; Mrs. Minnie Smith, who had been with her eons at Toledo for n month; James John ston and daughters, Leona and Mrs Ray Lee and children, Bobby and little Ruth Ann from near North Bend, who have been visiting at the Johnston home. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Holt visited Mrs. Lewis Calavan one day last week at the I^ebanon hospital.where she recently underwent a major op eration. Verne Baber and Oscar Crain of Prineville are at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kelly with their gas sheep shearing machine. They will begin shearing in this vicinity in a few days. The Oakview and Riverview school baseball teams will plar on the Oak view diamond Friday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kelly and Mr. and Mrs J. H. Kelly drove to I^ebannn Sunday to visit at the homes of Arthur and Russell Kelly, Joyce Kellv accompanied them home for a week's visit with her grandparents Murrel Gilkey, who has been work ing at the Crown Mmes, came home Friday evening to stay till Wednes Flaae’e Petland farm and purchased a fox terrier Ernest Kellv is sporting a new Durant car.
