Ore., by T. H. Colpitts, an engineer of wide experience. Mr Coipitta has made examination* of mines in Colorado. Mexico and in all the princiiml mining districts of the V. S. He is noted as an authority on n i ling matters, and is now Cnited Stales Miner al Surveyor, consis|uently what he wiys of our property will be read with interest by ull who know him. Note what he says of the great width of the main vein and of its liability to increase in value with depth. Assays from this main vein show values from $2 St» to $19 on the surface; also note the width of the selvage, being many feet wide (a rureoccurance) containing pay values. This same occurance was found on the great Comstock mine, which produced over $386.0(>0.000. The C »mstock was principally a silver producing ininc. Also note that there are few other mines of any market! degree of similarity to this, and that they have all produced immense wealth. Stock is now being offered in this great mine at 7% cents per share, which will double in price soon. Invest your money as near your home as |ioasible, for it helps to increase the prosperity of your country indirectly, in addition to the desired and direct returns in dividends. It is not mining in the ground at a depth from which failure results, it is mining on paper, in stock schemes, the results of which are failures to the investor. Make it your business to investigate the holdings of the com|>aniea in whose stock you are to invent. R. E. PEERY, President, C. M. & M. Co., Scio, Ore. W eatherford x wyatt L. H.
