D. M. Potter and her daughter, Mrs. Alice Manon, left Monday morning for Heppner. P. A, Dixon took them out. G. C. Millet, who was looking over the W. B. Potter ranch with the, anticipation of buying it returned to Salem Saturday. He was favorably impressed with this part of the country and is going.to return soon. KmelStraube and MissiElva Trent of Waterman were the j guests of Mr. ,nd Mrs Charles Jerdfina Thursday night. C. F. Waters, the enterprising farmer and stock raiserof this sec tion, came in Friday and gave us ntt order for job-work. , ' D.M.Richey, started Monday morning for the Mitchell country to supply his .patrons with Dr. Watkins Remedies and Flavoring J2x tracts. Doc. Brown of Condon was in Spray Wednesday. A. V. Templcton and Charlie Jenkins went up to the Junction lust week. L. E.Morse went to Hood River and points in Washington and will be away a few weeks.
