INDIANS IN MONTANA
Members of the missionary circle
of the Springfield Baptist church held
their regular meeting Tuesday evening
at the home of Miss Gladys Chase
In Chase Gardens at 7:30. Plans for
the years’ work were discussed and
it was decided to make twenty-five
large hankerchlefs of bright colored
cloth for the Indians on the Crow
reservation In Montana. The hand­
kerchiefs are a yard square and are
used by the Indians as wraps around
their heads This group recently gath­
ered a box of clothing and sent it
to the Indians nt the Navajo reserva­
tion in Arizona.
Mrs. Elmo Chase had charge of
the program and Mrs. D C. Ogilvie
was in charge of the business ses­
sion.
