ible foes" from the standpoint of
one who has been for thirty-three

is still so, engaged in the honor­
able effort to keep men and wom­

better thereby.

ing knowledge of the subject,
which would enable the student to
defend himself against many of
the active foes of comfort and
health, which continually beset
him.
