Taylor, county treasurer, declared that he would again seek the nomin ation at the hands of the reepuh licans, having J. W. Pixley as one opponent at the primaries and possibly others. Marion Veatch, coroner, anounces that he will seekrenomination for that office and E. J. Moore, county school superintendent is a candidate for the office' for another term. Mr. Taylor is serving his third term as treasurer. He has the hearty support of the old sol diers, he being a veteran of the Civil war, and is a former de partment commander of the G. A.R. Mr. Veatch is serving his first term as coroner, having succeed ed W. T. Gordon, who held the office for a number of terms. Mr. Moore was appointed to ent when II. D. Baughnmn re signed on account or tue hi health of his family. Mr. Moore has served in that capacity about three years. Register.
