Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, and beat until light and fluffy. Fold in eggs and prunes. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and beat well after each addition. Bake In a greased oblong pan In a moderate oven for 45 min utes. Let cool and frost with: Mocha Frosting. 4 cups sifted powdered sugar H cup cocoa H teaspoon salt '•« cup butter or substitute (Makes 3 dozen) li cup shortening 14 cup peanut butter 'a cup granulated sugar '4 cup brown sugar 1 egg Hi cups flour 14 teaspoon salt *• teaspson soda Cream peanut butter with shorten ing. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Shape chilled dough into small balls and place on a bak ing sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped In flour, making a criss-cross design on the cookie. Bake in a quick, moderate <375-degrec) oven for 10 io 12 minutes - Let coo] slight ly before removing from tin.
