The dairies of Ashland are facing an acute milk bottle shortage. If the housewives of Ashland will give us 100% co-operation in the matter of returning bottles, they will help us out of a difficult situation. If theshortage is not relieved quickly, we may be forced to establish a policy of "N O BOTTLES— NO MILK.” It is as difficult to buy milk bottles as it is to buy many other every day necessities, and for that reason we are appealing to you to search through every corner and cupboard for milk bottles and get them back into circulation. (Incidentally 98% of all milk bottles are the property of the dairies and are loaned to the consumer from one delivery to the next.) Kindly hunt up all of the bottles, wash them and put them out for the delivery man or return them to the store. The store will pay you the deposit for all bottles which you return. The dairy men will pay you cash or give you credit for all which you return. 1 Please co-operate! Put your empty bottles out for the delivery man every day. Help us to give you better service, so it will not be necessary to say "N o Bottles— N o Milk!"
