The public is cordially invited » V Talent Sawmill, which has managed to run through the dif ficult conditions of the last few months, without hardly any loss of time, has finally succumbed George Zickefoos, plant superin tendent, announces that, through difficulty in obtaining sawlogs the mill would be forced to take a layoff for a week or more. Em ployees have been notified that the mill could not resume opera tion at capacity until March 11th or 12th at the earliest unless logs arrived from an unexpected quar ter. During the past winter, when labor troubles, bad weath er and poor luck, have forced other plants in nearby cities, to suspend operations, the Talent Sawmill has steadily cut its quo ta of lumber, thus aiding mater- y the national emergency in the way of an accute lumber shortage.
