Following the regular business
meeting a very interesting talk
was delivered by Dr. Richardson,
minister of the Community church,
on "Christmas" Those who at­
tended were Mesdames Lloyd Lu-
per. John Kalvett. Ryce, T Quam-
rne. John De Witt, M Seif, Arthur
Pedersen and Ed Wells and the
teachers, Mrs King, Miss L. Gans-
burg and Miss Hunt
Refresh­
ments were served at the conclu­
sion of the meeting.
• The Women's Society for Chris­
tian Service held a Christmas
party at the club house Tuesday
afternoon, with Mrs Waldemar
Holmberg and Mrs Harry De Jar-
nett as hostesses The delightful
program that was greatly enjoyed
by all consisted of the singing of
a Christmas carol, a reading by
Mrs L D Clark, a duet by Mrs
R Williams and Mil W Holm­
berg, and the reading of “The
Vision of Sir Launfal" by Dr
Richardson.
Following the pro­
gram gifts were exchanged and
refreshments of pie and coffee
were served Those who attended
the party were Mesdames W
Holmberg, Harry De Jarnett, L.
D. Clark, Frank Ward, Donovan
Ward, O. Bemheiscl, Elmer Jack-
son, John De Witt, Richard Wil­
liams, Nelson Watts and son Gene.
