morning by stage for Crescent
City to visit his brother and Ma­
ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles

• Arthur Dillon of Talent and
Anna Ashley of Medford were
married Saturday at Medford.
• It Is reported that Mrs Mary
Higgins, who underwent an oper­
ation at the Community hospital
in Ashland, Is improving

• The play put on for the Talent
Grange by the Southern Oregon
College of Eflucation players was
greatly enjoyed by the grangers
and visitors. Following the play a
dinner was served. Dancing con­
cluded the evening's entertain­
ment.
• The operetta "Rose of Danube"
is being rehearser! by the school.
It will be given early in the win­
ter.
• Ralph Hamilton who is employ
er! in the Tuie I-ake country spent
Sunday at home.
• Mrs Al Sherard was shopping
in Ashland Monflay afternoon She
also called on friends while there.
• R W Beaver left Monday for
Corona, Calif, where he will visit
friends.
• Mr. and Mrs J. H Smith who
have been living on the new high­
way moved to Oakland, Calif, the
first of this week.
• The Women's Society of the
Christian Service held its annual
bazaar at the city hall Tuesday
from 10 a. m. until ft p m Needle­
work and food were the order of
the day The bazaar wax well at-
tended anti most articles were
sold.
