ADD WRESTLING TO JULY 4 SHOW Wrestling fans of southern Ore gon and northern California will be treated to a special holiday all-star card by Promoter Mack Idllard in Ashland's outdoor thea ter in Llthia park Thursday eve ning. July 4. according to an nouncement yesterday. Lillard gave the celebration committee assurance that he would bring his mat matadors to Ashland for the independence day celebration and indicated that he would search coast circles for the year's most outstanding card. First match will get under way at 8 p.m. July 4, with two other outstanding matches to follow. IJIlard also indicated that Prince Mehalikis. a well known wrestler, probably will give a div- iAg exhibition at Twin Plunges on that day, including his famous fire dive and other unusual feats. The celebration plans are shap ing up rapidly, with the Cavalcade of the Siskiyou, gigantic pageant with a cast of 400 people, ad vancing ahead of schedule while parade plans, rodeo arrangements and other feature attractions are assuring Ashland of the greatest celebration in the city's history.
