Mehalikis has been in the east, principally New York, for the last three years and has been quite successful at short-story writing He is the man who gave high diving exhibitions at Twin Plunges during the July 4 celebration here three years ago. King Kong Clayton, the classy Negro from Alabama, has con sented to remain in Medford for a few more matches and will mix with Polish Joe Smolinski, the rugged roughneck, in the middle bout which will be for six 10-min- ute rounds or the best two out of three falls. Smolinski has been us ing his "alley” tactics on fellow opponents elsewhere for quite some time and is anxious to get at the Negro. Bob Montgomery, the jumping bean from Alabama, returns after a long sojourn in another section of the nation, to meet a newcomer to Medford. "Zim” Zimovich of Finland, in the opener, which will be over the same distance as the middle encounter. Zimovich is a 200-pound scientific grappler.
