It is a hilarious tale of the complications which ensue when a New York theatrical producer, played by O'Brien, comes to a Wyoming dude ranch and as sumes that a trio of stranded eastern musicians who dress up in cowboy duds while they en- Certain the guests are authentic cowboys. Taking the leader of the trio, played liy Dick Powell, back to New York and launching him on a highly successful radio career as a cowboy crooner, he discov ers his cowboy is really a Brooklyn youth who has never ridden a horse. Music is plentifully inter- spersed with the action. Some of the music consists of famous cowboy ballads, but the real melodic feature of the picture is the five new songs written for the production. GRIZZLIES LOSE GAME Ashland high school’s Grizzly basketball team lost to Gardiner high on the latter’s home court 28-27 in an overtime period Fri day night after the score had been knotted at 26-26. The winning points were scored by Gardiner on two free throws while the Ash- land lads converted one gift shot. ----------- •-------- BLAZE IS SNUFFED A smouldering fire, which was placed under control by residents at the Gregory house on Ashland street early Saturday, was finish ed off by firemen without appre ciable damage.
