The ways and means committee an nounced a dance to be given at the clubhouse May 14. The program was given by the Grange members whose names start with C or D. Catherine Dav ies gave a reading, "Roses for Mother,” Two whistling solos were given by Ruth Byerly, accompan ied by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Free man. A reading, "Mother," given by Henry Carter. Following the serving of fresh men ts. the group enjoyed dancing to music furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Freeman. The hospitality committee for the next meeting includes Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Wilcox. Marie Walker. Alice Pagel, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Williams. Mr. and Mrs. A Snider, Mr. and Mrs. G. A drews and Mrs. Mabel White. • The Upper Valley Community club will meet at the club house at 12:30 p. m. Wednesday, when they will enjoy a covered dish luncheon. Mrs. Alice Pagel, Mrs. John McCollum and Mrs. Reynolds will act as hostesses. Miss Marie Walker, Mrs. Louis Pankey and Mrs. Archie Kincaid compose the program committee. During the business meeting of ficers for the coming year will be installed. There also will be an exchange of bulbs and flowers. • A new telephone line has been built to the Archie Kincaid ranch.
