Aban doned noil in being worked and new fields are being opened for treasures of gold. The Patricia Mines at Waldo have a crew of fifty men. the i Easterly mine at Takilma a crew of about sixty men. Pleasant creek in Jackson County, above Wimer, has had a test by Los Angeles Interests for dredge pur poses, and has proved better than expected.
