that has sewers, has a moral and civil
obligation to dispose of the waste with
out endangering health or property
values in other districts.
Yet Medford’s proposed bond issue is
meeting stiff opposition in some quart
ers, undoubtedly for political reasons. It
is hard to believe any citizen can be so
callous or slovenly as to believe it is
just too bad for those who live down-
