GeofVe Porter Wlkoff, who formerly resided at Moro, Sherman County, Or., but who now lives In Portland, has filed his petition . In bankruptcy. Wickoff was a member of the firm of Wickoff Mc Donald. In April the firm dissolved partnership. They owe more than they can pay. Wlkoff desires to surrender his Interest In partnership property for the benefit of the creditors of the firm. The petitioner, declares that McDonald has colleoted debts owing to the firm, and has converted the same to his own use to defraud creditors. In. the SUte Circuit Court at 10:30 this morning, after presenting the testimony of five witnesses to show that Williams was a peacable,' law-abiding cltlsen, and that Hicks, the deceased, 'was a quar relsome and dangerous man.
