Josephine Myrtle Bauer, passed
away Tuesday at her home west
of Cedar Mill, Nov. 30, following a
short illness.
She was born at Scappoose in
1897. On Dec. 1, 1921 she was mar­
ried to Clifford Bauer at the home
of his parents near Cedar Mill.
An outstanding
record as
a
church member is credited to her.
She was a charter member and
Deaconess of Tabernacle Church
of Seventh Day Adventist, having
attended church regularly missing
not more than 6 sabbaths in 27
years.
She has been well known in
the vicinity in which she has
lived for the past 27 years.
Survivors are her husband, Clif-
ford; a daughter, Irene; sisters,
Mrs. E ffie Grant of Linnton, Mrs.
Pete Helzer and Mrs. Hilda Kap-
ischkia of Milwaukie, Mrs. Carl
Dick of Hillsboro, Mrs. August Hi
ckethier and Sophia Zresman of
Cedar Mill and brothers Adolph of
Portland, Max of Kelso and Er­
nest of Scappoose.
Services were conducted Friday,
December 3 at 1 p.m. at Finley’s
