She was born at Scappoose in 1897. On Dec. 1, 1921 she was mar­ ried to Clifford Bauer at the home of his parents near Cedar Mill. An outstanding record as a church member is credited to her. She was a charter member and Deaconess of Tabernacle Church of Seventh Day Adventist, having attended church regularly missing not more than 6 sabbaths in 27 years. She has been well known in the vicinity in which she has lived for the past 27 years.
