Club Joins Frolic With Saddleites B eaverton Saddle club m em bers w ho attended the dance given by th e W ashington C ounty W estern ers, Sat., Feb. 7, report having had a grand tim e. There w as good m u sic, and during the course of the even in g several circle tw osteps, a ta g w altz and a square dance, so every o n e had a chance to get acquainted w ith other club m em bers. D uring the interm ission lunch w as served in the basem ent which had been decorated w ith the club colors. The “travelin g trophy" was w on by a m em ber of the W ash ington C ounty W esterners, and w ill rem ain in the p ossession of th a t club until the n ext party or dance given by any of the clubs, w hen all w ill again have th e op p ortun ity o f w in nin g it. Sewing Classes Change Location Have Vacancies B eaverton adult clothing class es, conducted under the leader ship ot Mrs. Bailey, Forest Grove, have established a new location in the K iw anis hall and sewing instruction w ill continue in two groups. Morning class will run from 9:30 a. m. to 12 noon and after noon class from 1 p. m. to 3:30 p.m., both on Tuesdays. The cloth in g classes are spon sored by local schools in co-oper ation w ith the state division of vocational education. At present, there are tw o or three vacancies In each class and local readers w ish ing to take advantage of the project are invited to apply at K iw anis hall, on class day.
