They were Instructed In pat tern selection and colors suitable to their personalities and per sonal coloring ROBINSON CONTINUES ON Chester Robinson will Mrs. John Robinson’s group of Camp Fire Girls held their regu lar Thursday meeting January 8 at the home of their guardian on S. W. Cashmur Lane at West Slope. The girls talked about the National Birthday project and made plans for carrying It out. Mrs. Robinson then showed the girls how to force forsythla and daphne, In preparation for one of the requirements for pass ing their Wood Gatherer’s rank. The following seven girls were present at the meeting: Dorothy Eddy, Carol Ann Copp, Gretta Robinson, llene Boge, Patricia Madden, Suzanne Barnes and Jean Cowie. A group of Camp Fire Girls, with Mrs. Ben McCue as guard ian, met in the Sunday school room of the Church of the Naz- arene, Thursday the 8th. The girls played several games in the grade school play shed be fore they gathered at the church for their business meeting. The meeting was called to order and these girls answered roll call: Darlene Burk, Marilyn Martin, Phyllis Mead, Lois Reavls, Ruth Rogers and Sunny Sandborn. The girls elected officers at this meet ing and decided that they would rotate officers for the rest of the year so that each girl could get experience in each office, each group of girls serving for four meetings. These officers were elected for the first month: Phyllis Mead, president; Mari lyn Martin, Vice-President: Ruth Rogers, secretary; Lois Reavis, treasurer; Darlene Burk and Sun ny Sandborn. program commit tee; Sylvia Kain and Janet Blackburn. Service committee. The girls talked about picking out their Indian names and had a general discussion on various other subjects after which the meeting was adjourned. FIFTH GRADE GROUP Mrs. Donald Jenkin’s group of fifth grade Camp Fire (¡iris met last Thursday at their new meet Ing place In the basement of the Church of Christ. In the absence of Mrs. Jenkins. Mrs. Wilbert Johannemeler. assistant guardian, led the group. Sever al members were absent and af ter a short business meeting, af ter which games were played, the meeting was adjourned until next week Wastdnle district welcomes its new residents, who have pur chased the former Cain home, the Reynold Cooks, daughter Barbara 4VS yrs, and son Steven, 7 yrs.
