B E A V ER T O N EN TER PR ISE Friday, Ja n u ary 16, 1948 Harry S. Flow er o f Metzger passed away on December 22. leaving to mourn his loss his wife, Helen, and tw o sons. The funeral services were held at W ELC O M ES SON Mr and Mrs. Robert Froman the Metzger Community Meth- o f Eugene are the parents of a six and a half pound boy, born on January 12. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. W . C Froman and Mr and Mrs. Ben Carsh W O M A N 'S C L U B M EETS Metzger News RETURN FROM SOUTH Mr. and Mrs. Harry Patton re turned last Saturday from a trip to Long Beach. Calif., where they spent the holidays w ith Major and Mrs. Jacob Bigham and daughter. A potluck luncheon was served at noon, with Mesdames McClure, Elliott and Thompson as hostesses. Mrs. Stapleton of the Portland Council of Girl Scouts spoke, givin g a picture o f Girl Scouting, and told of the gypsy trips.
