The home o f John Kraft, about two and one-half miles east of Aurora, on Route 1, burned to the ground last Sat urday night, the fire starting about 8:80 o ’ clock. Practically all the furni ture was destroyed including the piano Mr. Kraft saved a table or two and few chairs and rugs. The Aurora fire brigade rushed to the scene but was too late to be o f service. A Wyllis-Knight car. owned by Washington state parties, ran into California Chevrolet in a head-or col lision at the corner in front of J. W Sadler’s residence last Thursday after noon and though no one was injured the cars were both badly damaged, few minutes later Wurster Bros, truck, stopping at the corner from cur iosity or otherwise, lost all the spokes from one wheel.
