Scott, of the Al ban cannery, ntade another busi ness trip to Portland today. Scott has been the moving factor in advan cing the price of berries in this valley and has placed the minimum at 12 cents at Salem where the cannery had been holding the price below that figure. LEBANON FARMER SELLS PLANTS As a means of developing his or chard tract in the outskirts of the city of Lebanon, Harvey Loveall last year set out a large patch of Wilson and Magoon strawberry plants and in the fall encouraged them to set new plants. Recently he received one single order from a Portland firm for 30,000 of the plants and has sold up wards of 70.0(H) to home buyers with a prospect that he will yet sell enough to increase his sales to 150,000 before the season is over.
