Board of Education would giva the
college $16,000 if Albany and Linn
O. Forbes, D. D., of Seattle, will offer
the prayer. Prealdent William will

In the evening of inaugural day,

almost been forced Into being a girl's
colleg. But th boy cam back, and
many of them cam back to Albany
College and more are to follow.
Albany College has had the finan
cial backing for many years of the
strong college board of tha Presby
terian church located in New York.
When aome folk wanted to mergt
a few year ago and the merger re
fused to. merge, the colleg board,
on th recommendation of on of Ita
secretaries, withdrew ita support from
AlhaViy College. But the trustees
knew that tha board east had more
misinformation than facta. Two
yeara ago they undertook to aet the
Colleg right in th eye of the board.
