W. W. at Cen tralia, her girlhood home. Mrs. Hunt er was acquainted with all of the men, and also knew by reputation the I. W. W. Attorney, Smith. Dale Hubbard, who left a wife and baby, lived next door to Mrs. Hunt er's parents, as did also Warren Grimm, another victim. McGlfresh, also killed, was popular and well-liked, ( Mrs. Hunter says. Eubanks, wounded by the reds, was also a na tive of Centralia. Chas. Fisher, a brotherinlsw of Mrs. Hunter, was an ex-service msn who msnched in the fatal parade and was a tint-hand witness of the ensuing riots. Seminary Ridge, from which the reds poured bullets into the nsrade, lies just back of the depot and is a high bluff affording protection to the auassins. Reception Given Rev. Mr. Spencer A large social gathering at the Methodist church last night welcomed Rev. Mr. J. C. Spencer and family to the local pastorate. J. C. Van Win kle was chairman of the evening. Un der his able direction a program of music and speeches was put on. Soci al refreshments were served. Reports made showed the local church to be in flourishing condition. Rev. Mr. Spencer, lately from RoM burg, comes highly recommended and has already demonstrated his calibre in the local pulpit.
