He believes that much of the recent fires have been caused by an unusual amout of electrical storms in the mountains. In normal times a long list of the records of the fires in the mountains goes to show that more than 60 percent of the fires are caused by lightning and during recent weeks more than the usual electrical ztorms have occured in the mo in tain districts causing numerous fires.
