I, Id . ntiration movement is .rising in Germany as a result of the heavy taxes imposed for payment of the war indemnity. This movement does not meet witn any disapproval from the govern ment; rather, the contrary. Tha chief objective seems to be South America,- particularly Argen tina, Parairuay, Chile and Peru. Bra lil is not much considered, because of the late strained relations between Germany and that country. It is said that companies have been formed for the purpose of purchasing land abroad for colonies of German emigrants. It is believed that South America is a particularly favoraMe location for these colonies because the Latin countries will be the best msr- ket for German goods, and that - through these settlements Germany can obtain large supplies of raw ma terial which she sorely needs. A commonplace utterance, but nev ertheless worthy of comment It is safe to say that every citiien of that town who did march on the Fourth of July felt a glow around his heart as he read those words, and he was entitled to it.
