She haa written the war pinion commission, explaining her method. She plants certain seeds in boxes to give them an early start, and plants in an eggshell, buried in the soil. The ahell furnishes valuable lime fertilizer to the tender sprouts. BLIND HUSBAND IS BEST LONDON, June 6. Blind soldier hubbies are good hubbies, and they get good-looking wives. Sir Arthur Pearson, head of St Duns tan's hotel for the Blind, says so from his observation of 109 happy marriages of St. Dunstan patients. These 109 bridegrooms are better able to make livings for their families than they would have been before go ing to war. They are masseurs, short hand writers, telephone operators, car penters and market gardeners, train ed in their new occupations. No. 6, Linn county, Oregon, that the regular school election will be held at the high school building Saturday, June 15th, ' 1918, between the hours of 2 o'clock and 7 o'clock p. m. of said day.
