' Following the regular meeting of the Eastern Star Tuesday evening, a social time was enjoyed. Music and conversation made the time pass in a jolly way and later light refreshments were served. The Missionary Society of the First Presbyterian church met Wednesday afternoon in the church rooms, with j Mrs. i nomas Hopkins in Charge. The ; afternoon was spent in a profitable I way. at Master John Homibrook was host Friday evening to a very pretty din ner party. Places were arranged at the attractively appointed dinner table : for 11 guests. The crowd attended the Globe Theater after dinner. Included among the guests were Teddie Young. John Cusick, Teddie Gilbert, Bobbie : Barker, Stewart Ralston, David Ma son, Bobbie Marks, Ronald Huston. : Charles Kroschel and Ellis Sox. A ! very delightful evening was passed bv the guest. at at ! It has been planned that another Red Cross benefit dance will be given in about two weeks at the Anderson Farm in their large and roomv barn. The floor are excellent and good music is furnished by the Heister's orches- tra. Punch Is served during the eve' ning and an exceptionally enjoyable time passed by those who motor out. ANNUAL SCHOOL ELECTION Notice is hereby given to the legal voters of School Disk No. 6, Linn county, Oregon, that the regular school election will be held at the high school building Saturday, June 15th, 1918, between the hours of 2 o'clock and 7 o'clock p. m. of said day.
