Yes terday's supply of cattle totaled about 700, head, among which were only a lew heads of teal prime cattle, the big end being made up of medium and oidinary beef with a large supply of stocker and feeder cattle. There wat an excellent demand and a lame list of buyers and the market wat a britk one. Trading wat active and all sup plies were told out early in the day at prices mostly 2Sc higher than a week ago. One bunch o fprimc beef tteers brought 10c with a load of 1300 pound itcert at $975 These were the only .cal prime beef steers in the run. There were several loa'ls of good kil ls rn that brought ) 50 to $975, the balance of the run of the light eaadktii glades, selling from $875 to $925 Feeding steers sold from $8.40 to 87) ill, ttockcrs from $7 to $825. I here was an .xcellcnl demand for the light suppl) of cows aud Detect were from 15 to 25 cents higher. A few ,niall ot sold ;it $8.50 with the hoik of the good cows bringing $8 25. Medium grades sold aiound $7.50, with ordinary supply stuff bringing from J6.50 to $7. Built were in good tup id), with an excellent demand, telling steady to strong. Beit heavy bulls told rom $7.25 to $775. with medium heavy built at $675 to $7. Thin heavv and light dairy built sold from $6.00 to 6.50. Pork pricet were advanced another 10 to 15 cents after a stcadv market for over ten dayt. There wat a fairly good run of 1500 head, w ith a good de mand. Best light hog. brought $14.65 bulk of tales $14.50 to $14.60. Pigs were in fairly good supply and sold from $13. to $13.50. So sheen were received on vester- diy't market.
