The new officers were installed, the presi dent, Miss Lulu Hoist, nnd vice-president, Miss Winnifrcd Patterson. Aft er a pleasant evening a delicious lunch was served. On Monday evening a crowd of friends enjoyed a delightful party giv en by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ward. "500" was played during the evening around five tables and not until a late hour did the guests depart. Miss Naomi Duncan entertained the Amoma class of the .Baptist church on Monday evening. Games and music formed ihe diversions of the evening. The Jolly Twelve club met this week at the home of Mrs. Andrew Skarr. The usual enjoyable afternoon was passed and dainty refreshments partaken of. Mrs. Reed Walworth -was hostess to the Priseilla club on Wednesday ait ernoou at her home on Kifth street. At the close of the afternoon a choice luncheon was served. About a hundred members of the Eastern Siar from Albany went in cars to Corvallis Tuesday evening, where they were entertained by St. Mary's Chapter, No. 9. A number of past grand officers were in attend ance at thij time. A pleasant feature of the evening was the rendering of several vocal solos by Miss Blanche Hammel of Corvallis, formerly of Al bany.
