Bill Woods Passes Bill Woods, well known musician, who has been conducting a moving picture theatre in Cottage Grove, pass ed through the city yesterday morn ing enroute to Portland. Madame X" Fine A large crowd greeted the opening performance of Madame X at the Globe last night. This story is so well known in the book form that no comment is needed, save to say that Dorothy Donnelly handles the diffi cult role of the woman, who, craving for love is turined aside by her hus band to fall the victim of his friend, then to be cast out and sink to the lowest depths. Her portrayal of the part is great work, and t lie court room scene is a wonder in tense act ing and pathos. Small, who, up to a few days ago was agent for the Great Northern Express Co. in this city, writes friends in this city that at 10 o'clock Thurs day morning, April 27, his wife pre sented him with a nice nine pound ba by boy.
