During the ten days session which opened at the civic auditorium today, of the Pana ma Pacific Dental Congress, clinics will be held in the San Francisco hos pitals at which different operations on the oral cavity will he demon strated by the most eminent oral sur geons in the world. These opera tions will be free and sufferers from cleft palate, hair-lip or other malfor mations of the mouth w ill be treated. The congress is attended by WHO delegates from all parts of the world and is the greatest ever held by the dental profession. Among the many organiiations are the international Dental Association (F D. I.): Nation al Association of Orthordonatia: Den tal Society of Southern California: Scientific Foundation and Research Commission; National Association of Dental Examiners: the 'Association of Military Dental Surgeons of the, l'nited State, and many of the stale ! societies. Drinkard was born in Missouri, Jjily 25. 1855, being 60 years and 24 days old at the time of his death. He was a pioneer of the county, having cross ed the plains with his parents in early childhood. In 1873 he was married to Miss Ella Miller of Halsey. To which union were born four sons and two daughters, all of whom survive their father except Mrs. Eva Keeney who preceded him. having passed over in 1893. . Those surviving besides his sorrowing widow are as follows: Ed Drinkard of Chewelah. Washington; Claude of Coulle City, Washington; Bruce Drinkard of Hartline, Washing ton; and Clyde of Harrisburg. .
