Who for 1$ M on tin Haa Been the EUera Music Houm Repre sentative in Linn County "It w.is my intention in coining here A year and a half ago and moving my i.imily here to make my permanent home in Albany, and build up a sub stantial piano business. Since com ing here have been ery sticcesstul Mot of the piano 1 have had on hand have come front Eilers Music House ot l'oul.iml and some oi (hem 1 purchase direct. Now business mat ters have arisen that make it iuiiera live ! shall leave hare very soon, in liVct ihe husiitess that 1 am about to em oark in is of such importance that 1 am billing in order to close out every iauo in the Altuny territory tiuick iv I am willing if necessary to sutler J loss, for iu so doing 1 figure that I nil be the gainer in the end. Some of the pianos belong to Kilcrs Music House; some of them I have an equity in and some of them ate own ed outright by me. When 1 learned positively that 1 would have to leave here I took the matter up with Filers Music House to try lo have them tak.. over all the stock, making them an of fer which, had they accepted, would have entailed a loss to me of nearly JKXM.OO. Instead of accepting this of ier Eilers Music House made me a proposition by which they were will ing to cut the price on every one of rhe pianos of theirs in this territory a reduction in price so liberal that 1 decided, to put on a sale here thai would be irresistible to intending pi ano purchasers. Now ordinarily ihe profit on pianos is large, as there are so few pianos sold and the expense is so great, but in this sale I will consider myself for tunate if I can come out even. In fact I expect some loss even if every piano is sold in one week. There is a large and splendid stock of high-grade instruments here as I have been in the piano business .food part of my life and any of my mends and customers here will till you that I buy and sell almost ex clusively in the finest and higher- priced s andard makes of instruments. Whoever before heard of great bis Jiscoan's on Chickerii gs, Wcbers and Kirnballs? They are here in this sale ar.d it is the first time I think in his tory iha: ever such low prices have been made on such high-grade pianos. Under my agreement with Eilers' Pi ano House I dare not publish prices on their regular line of pianos, but I have the privilege of marking the re duction in plain figures on each piano in the store. Every contract is made to Eilers Music House and they are a;k of every piano in this sale you have their famous guarantee of one year's tree trial as well as the manu facturer's guarantee on every piano sold. Now just a word. Most of ihe pi inos here, in the schools, churches. healers, lodges, to 11 e most promi nent people here, in fact morst of the i ianos for the past 16 years sold in i..iiii county are from Eilers Music House and they have not a dissatis- ih-3 customer. i h:s sale is positively not a qucs :ii.:i of profit, 1 having other interests tint compel me lo take this hasty ac lion, and to my friends, to anyone in ending to purchase a piano in the next year yes, two years I would id' ise an immediate investigation of th:s sale, as one dollar will do the work of two at this time. There are fine pianos here, the best: ones thai I Tiave be-n selling for $475 marked now for just one-half price; there are player-pianos reduced in price ov er $JJ0. The rcductiions are enormous, as 1 realize that this is the wrong time ol the year to pui on a sale of this mag nitude !nd that price alone must be the magnet to draw the buyers at litis time. Kilcrs Music House has been more than generous in their reductions in prices to me also in making excep tionally easy terms a little each month like rent securing a piano now. If every one in Linn county knew Ihe exact truth of this sale, knew Ihe enormous reductions granted me by Eilers Music House and my willing ness to sacrifice all my profit, could see the prices marked plainly on each instrument, there would not be a pi ano left unsold by tomorrow night.
