Cleveland, as exemplifying Hie embodiment
of those principles in practical government af
fairs and condemn the wanton extravagance
of the bi: lion-dollar congress, whereby the
surplus of the. people's money has been

pledges made to the people, whereby its as
cendency was secured at the last national
election; and especially do we condemn the
McKinley bill as the blighting iniquity of, the

that th policy of favoritism pursued by the
