Wahiiixotox. Jan 20. Agent Crawford
was at the capitol today with a delegation
of Umatilla Indians, which he had brought
here for the purjiose of securing some con
cessions from tiie Indian bureau. They
wanted a hearing liefore the Oregon dele
gation, but all the members were too busy
to accord them the time. They also wanted,
to see the president, and probably Senator
