Senator David B Hill to take his seat in

able condescension on the part of these re
publican senators to permit Senator Hill
to take Ills seat. True, there is no one con
testing the right to his seat, and no reason
that bears the semblance of sufficiency

mitted to do so. But it is a question whether f

the recent heavy reduction in wages 'among
the employes of the American Hosiery Com
pany at New Britain, Conn. This is one of
