Crop vVbathur Bulletin No. 13, for the Week Enuisg Saturday. Juke 6, 1891. (Thlt bulletin U bated on reports of 155 corresponuenis.; In wettern Oregon cool, partly cloudy and cloudv weather with occasional show ers prevailed during the past week. On May 30 quite a heavy thunder storm pre vailed in western portion of the Willam ette valley, mi the 4th, 5th and 61I1 show ers were general. There was an absence of bright, warm sunshine. The weather conditions have birn ex ceedingly favorable ti cereals, causing the prospects for harvest to be extraordin arily good. General reports indicate the hay ciop to be unusually heavy; wheat and oats to be in better condition than for many vears, If ever better, ut this sejkon of tbe year. The cool weather and rains have not been favorable to the straw berry crop, which is now ripening and bvrrk-s plentiful. Stone fiults will not bean aver aee. especially n the Willamette valley. The warmth in January, the cool spring and frosts, which, at the time were not supDOsed to have done much damage, did really do much damage, f ruit is falling on, sometreesilving. cnernes ana pi tines are espei cia.lv injuiea. Cherries are be ginning to ripen. Better reports in re gard to the fruit is received from portions of Douglas and from Josephine, Josephine and Curry counties. Corn acreage has been increased and doing well. Vinvaids are unusually thrlft ; clusters are form ing. Hopsaredong well, in some sections lice are reported; in others, especially about Lebanon, Linn county, no lice are found. In eastern Oregon a lower terv.peratnre than the previous week, together with partly cloudy weather and general rains prevailed. General crop prospects were never bet ter, at this season of the year, than they are at prerent throughout this section. Fanners are jubilant over the excellent prospects. B. S. Paguk, Observer, V. I have been a erer.t sufferer from Asth ma and severe Colds every Winter, and last Fall my friends as well as myself thought because of my feeble condition, and great distress from constant cough ing, and inability to raise any of the accumulated matter from my lungs, that my time was close at hand. When nearly worn out for want of sleep and rest, a friend recommend ed me to try thy valuable medicine, Hoschee s uerman Syrup. I am con fident it saved my life. Almost the first dose gave me great relief auda gentle re freshing sleep, such as I had not had forweeks. Mycough began immedi ately to loosen and pass away, and i lounu mysen rapiaiy gaining in health and weight. I am' pleased to inform thee unsolicited that I am in excellent health and do cer tainly attribute it to thy Boschee's German Syrup. C. B. Stickney, Picton, Ontario." Gentle, Refreshing Sleep.
