The Willi meite V sl-.ows from a to 55 bushels per acie, some places more. Bei.loi county will average 25 bushels per acre, Linn culit.ty will average fiom 30 to 35 bushels per acre. Yields of 43 bushels per acre are repotted from Polk county and 50 bushels per acre from Marion county. The whole Willamette Valley will average f,om 25 to 30 bushels per acre. The Umpqua Valley will average the same. Tlie Rogue river Valley is yielding on an average 20 bush els per acre. Though there are reports as high as 40 bushels per acre. Eastern Oregon shows a larger yield than was expected. Wasco,Gilliain, Sher man and Morrow counties were badly damaged by the hot dry weather, In some sectlonsof these counties the wheat was not worth cutting, in others Ja bushel per acre wasyielded. Umatilla county reports yield ef from 12 to 48 bushel per acre. The general average will equal former years. The best yield so far reported is from near Weston where a 180 acre field averaged ccM bushels per acre. Indian corn yields a( bushels ner acre and the yield of bar ley is as hleh as 11 bushels per acre. In Indian an oranue Konue vaueys 01 uuion county wheat is averaging 32 bushels per acre. 'Rain has not fallen in Oregon to be of benefit, for 75 dys, and the yields re ported do not show much of a failure in the crops. Potato and hop crops are not an average. Frui. crops are above an average. . Wheat in Western Oregon is being sold for 6j cents per bushels, in Eastern Oregon from 52 to 55 cents per bushels with an upward tendency in the market price. B.
