AT. A. Mil er at Lincoln. Lincoln Journal: Many states were represented in the ovation. Personal friends of Mr. Bryan from the South were here, and one gentleman from as far away as Oregon was in the throng at the depot to greet Mr. Bryan when he alighted from the train. The Oregon visitor was State Senator M. A. Miller, of the town of Lebanon. He was not a stranger, how ever, as Mr. Bryan had been his guest at his Lebanon home, and the former presidential candidate recognized him at onceand seemed glad to grasp the visitor's hand. Mr. Miller was a dele gate to both of the national conventions which nominated Mr. Bryan for the presidency. In 1896 the only member of the Oregon delegation for Bryan was Mr. Miller. The others were for Bland, but when Bryan made his fa mous speech, the entire delegation plumped itself bodily into the Bryan ' camp. Mr. Miller began his arrange j ments several weeks ago to come to j Lincoln to the home-coming reception. ; He anticipated a tremendous throng of t visitors and was cautious to engage hotel quarters more than a month ago. Mr. Miller will remain in Lincoln for a day or two to visit Mr. Bryan at Fair- view. Wanted Fifty M dern Cottages. MAN WANTED. Somewhere near Albany, to assist us in showing and !
